Design Brief

This website was required by the owner to advertise a plot of land with planning permission located in Sarlat in France. The client wanted to be able to show the plot of to its best which they felt was not possible on a lot of the property and land websites available today. The website needed to include a gallery to show off all the pictures, a map so that potential buyers could find where it is located easily, a contact form and an easy way to translate the site for non English speakers.

Requirements

Domain name: We purchased and manage the domain name for our client

Hosting: We host the website on our servers

Website design: We designed the site trying to keep it fresh and simple

Contact form: A simple contact form to allow initial queries to get through

Gallery: We set up a gallery on the site to show of the best pictures limiting the number shown on each page to save on load time.

Google maps: We embedded a google map showing the exact location of the land. This allows potential clients to find it easily and study the satellite view to learn of the surroundings

Translation: We dropped in a google translator to aid non English viewers through the site
